Wipe case and Changing pad

This is the newest addition to the "baby stuff" family. I am always grossed out at the thought of laying one of my babies on a public changing table EWWW! This changing pad is perfect. It is just the right size and rolls up nice and small so it does not take up too much precious space in my diaper bag. And who could resist a cute wipe holder to go along with it. Get it in any color combination you want or to match your Dolly Popper Diaper Bag.

And the winner is...

It took a little bit of explaining as well as a demonstration for the boys to understand what they were supposed to do to pick the winner.

The rule was that whichever name made it into one of the boys' mouths first won.

Tate could not stop laughing, but Hudson quickly got down to business. So without further ado...The winner is...

Wait for it, wait for it...

The drawing will be delayed for fifteen minutes due to the dinner needs of the small twin boys that will be picking the winner...

Who doesn't love free stuff?!

That's right...a drawing. I am going to hold a drawing for a free wallet and card holder on Memorial Day. This is actually a really important holiday for me and what better way to celebrate then to have a drawing? There are a few ways to enter and you get one entry for each item on the list. So here are the ways to enter:
  • Just leave a comment on this post...doesn't have to be anything big...just say hello!
  • Sign up for the e-mail list.
  • If you have ordered and received your product comment on the feedback section of this blog. (I realize it is not so fair if you have ordered but not yet received you item so leave a comment anyway and I'll count it.)
  • Link The Vintage Clothespin to your blog (once you have linked my blog to yours leave me a comment on this post or send me an e-mail so I know).

You have until 7:00pm Memorial Day (May 25, 2009) to do any of the above items and enter the drawing. This means that you could have up to four entries! Check the blog around 7:30pm for the winner to be announced. Good luck and look forward to pictures of my twins picking the winner!

My newest project...

I had some extra fabric from an apron order that I had and decided to use it to try and make a wallet. This is the first one that I tried...and I think that I am really going to like it. There are a few changes I am going to make before I start to sell them, but I though I would give you a little preview. It is big enough for a check book and the credit card insert should fit all my cards. Plus, it has ruffles...and you can't really go wrong with ruffles, right? I am planning on making one to match my Dolly Popper bag...how cute will that be!?

This is a picture of the credit card insert...it has a ruffle on the bottom and the tie loops around the button to keep all your cards from falling out.By the way, can I just say how much I love doing this? I love to sit down and think up new stuff and play around with the sewing machine until they are just right...it is so fun!!!

Hope you like it!

So this bag is special order for Lindsey...hope you like it Linds! She ordered a bag in boy and girl fabric, but let me pick it out, which was so much fun! I love going to the fabric store (and I think they love to see me coming, too...I have spent a lot of time and money there in the past few weeks!) I found this very girly fabric by my favorite designer, Amy Butler, and thought it would be perfect. Now I know that I always say that I love how the bags turn out, but this one is my favorite so far. I think it is the perfect diaper bag for a little girl. Anyway, I hope you like it and I will post pictures of the "boy" bag you ordered tomorrow.

Dolly Popper Bag...

So I made another Dolly Popper Bag (in the large size) in some new fabric...and I love how it turned out! I was a little unsure about the butterflies at first, but it turned out so cute (at least I think so!)! I have had quite a few orders since I started the blog, so as each bag gets finished, I will post pictures so you can see the bags in all different fabrics.

New Stuff

I have been working on a few new things and I am really excited about them.
First, I am going to start doing an e-mail list. If you are on this list you will be the first to know about any fun new products and promotions. If you would like to be on the e-mail list you can either comment and leave your e-mail address or just send an e-mail to thevintageclothespin@hotmail.com.
Second, I have decided to make 'The Dolly Popper Bag' in two different sizes. There is now a large size that will be perfect for the typical single baby diaper bag (it occurred to that not everyone needs a twin sized diaper bag). It is still plenty big and still has just as many pockets. I often take this bag on trips to the store when I only need to pack a couple of bottles, diaper, and a few toys. The deluxe size is just that, a deluxe diaper bag. This is the bag you would want to use if you have multiple kids that you need to tote stuff around for. Or just one kid that requires a lot of toys, snacks and entertainment. It is also a great size for an overnight bag. I use this bag for church and when I need to have jackets for the boys or a spare outfit. Both sizes are great and neither is too small or too large. It all depends on what you are taking with you. I am making two sizes because I honestly could not decide which size was best, so I am leaving it up to you to decide.
Last, I am working on a new bag design and I can't wait to post it. It will be out in a month or so (I am still perfecting it). So get excited for the newest addition to 'The Vintage Clothespin'.
Also, as a reminder I love to do custom orders. If you like what you see but have a different color preference let me know and I will gladly find something in your color!
